Lingerie for the feet, rest for the soul

Black and white images from our last Winter get away at the Blue Mountains. Has it really been a year? Ready to embark on the Shangri- La! Images courtesy of Paul. I shall once again seek solace by the fire, with a good book, after a dinner of fine food. Looking forward to taking the time to dress up like a lady. Outfits selected!! Heaven on a stick.

  1. Your shoes are gorgeous! I love pretty shoes and I am always tempted to buy more and whenever I am, I am reminded of the line in the movie "In her shoes" with Cameron Diaz, something about no matter how much weight you put on your shoes will always fit! Must be why I prefer buying shoes to clothes! Have a great long weekend away! xx

That is so true. I have a friend at work, 'M', who is close to her 60s and she has told me that as she has aged she focuses the attention away from her face and her girth, further down to her feet.

She always has the most creative, amazing shoes. Shoes that look like cats, with eyes and ears and whiskers on the toe and everything! Everyone as a result is always drawn to and besotted with her feet .

  3. gorgeous shoes x and I love the idea of M and kooky shoes! I made my mum buy some amazing shoes up in a little boutique store in Gloucester a few years ago... mostly because they didn't fit me!! They were like a spring garden.

  4. Hi Tracey:) I am so sorry, I have been away from Blogland the last week...focusing on studying for exams. How fabulous that you had a long weekend away in the Blue Mountains....my favourite place in the world! I would live in Leura in a heartbeat! Now, for those shoes....GORGEOUS!!! I love them. Not saying that I could walk in them, but I love them!! I hope you had a marvelous time away and wish you a fabulous week. Nearly school holidays:) ~ Tina xx
