Lil insists on "going out far" on the board, then she jumps off on her own, has a swim and scrambles back on the board.

ReplyDeleteWe have the most perfect 50 centimetre wave at Coffs Harbour Jetty its the perfect place for little water babies to learn.I was watching a little girl surf with her Dad one day and she got so clever she surfed one waved backwards hawaiian style whilst waving to him so cute and cheeky she must have been 3 or 4. It made me miss Lily.
ReplyDeleteI can body board and surf but I remember Aunty Trudy being the most brilliant body surfer her long brown hair out like a water nymph.I can only imagine all the girls surfing together that would be a lovely family moment.Once the ocean is a part of your soul it has you captivated forever,I love that Lily is so spirited so young and so determined.xox
Oh yes, she is so spirited, so young and SO VERY DETERMINED! The other day I was teaching the kids at school how to twirl a hoop around their wrist with their arms out stretched. I wondered if Lily could do this, so went home and asked her. I tried to teach her and she kept hitting herself in the head and the eyes with the hoop.I came back and she had mastered it, wearing her bike helmet and swimming goggles.
