Each cake we bake takes 5 years off my life, but creates a life time of close and funny memories.
We loved the series 'The Cook and the Chef' and before we begin cooking, on every occasion, Lily must announce which one of us is the Cook and which one of us is the Chef! It varies from time to time.
gorgeous, gorgeous possum... this looks delightful and i love the vision of the cook & the chef hard at work;-) thank you so much for your positive feedback on my handi-work- it really, really means a lot. i have not gone 'public' with my blog yet as i am trying to populate it with more stuff first. primarily the stuff i am making- my sewn projects will be in here soon- bags & tshirts etc i really owe my renewed attentions to blogging to you...it just seemed to come at the right time our wee chat. this little pop chomsky has taken fingers out of certain pies and is now really trying to grasp the essence of my vision & dreamsxx i feel excited & invigorated- and of course this is a good place to be. i can't wait to see you soon...and show you my wares. but mostly just to see you & enjoy a laugh with a dear old friend. love you so much gorgeous girl. you are a warm & shining light xxxx
Hi Tracey, saw your comment on Janette's blog and thought I'd check yours out. I'm a teacher too (on maternity leave) and have a 1 year old. Your cake looks delicious!!!
Oh I love the Cook and the Chef too Tracey! How gorgeous is your Lily for choosing which one to be each time you cook:) Your cake looks fabulous!! ~ Tina xx
I am 34, a mum, a daughter, a lover, a wife, a friend, an assistant principal and a writer. I am a reader. Our piano is overflowing with books that I want to read. I may have to get a longer piano. As soon as I read 10 books another 15 accumulate. So many books, so much to write and never enough time to absorb and express it all. I love food, cooking, being cooked for and being surrounded by beautiful things and beautiful people.
